With regular lunch and dinner hours, and lack of physical activity (save from walking to and fro the construction site and canteen), the majority of us have resorted to taking a stroll in the park by our opening office after lunch.
You can feel that spring is upon us with the multiple blooms before the greens take over. One bald tree today will be a flowering one tomorrow. I'm so tempted to stay over night just to see the flowers bloom.

This afternoon, two of my colleagues went fishing by the pond, with a slingshot and a styrofoam bowl. I don't know how they do it, but they caught one fish.
This fish stayed in our pantry for one afternoon before my colleague decided he didn't want to share his dinner with it and let it back to the pond. Well, if he didn't do it, he'll be in trouble with the cleaning auntie tomorrow anyway, cause he was using her mop pail to hold the fish.

Egg or Chick
Ok, this is unsettling.
I was about to fry myself some mee goreng earlier so I cracked some eggs I bought. This is what I saw just as I intend to beat the egg.

Yup, that's feather on the spoon. I cracked open a couple more and it's the same in each. Ugh...
Usually, what I don't know, I don't care (I had actually ate a few from same batch before). But when I know, I'll gross out and shrivel up like a raisin. Now, I'm definitely on a witchhunt for feathers in the eggs I crack open.

When The Sun Shines
Ahh…another weekend free. The rain has stopped, the sun is out and the birds are chirping. Yup, the birds here definitely seems happier than those in Sg. Then again, they might be complaining for all I know.
Spring seems to be at the doorstep, even though the temperature appears to be see-sawing like the stock market.
The only issue? The sun is already high up shining on my ass by 6am. I should have closed my curtains. Oh well, I’m awake means I’m awake.
Did a bit of housekeeping (the collection of dust here is ridiculously fast despite having all the windows shut), went for breakfast, then to the market and bought some veggies. Yes, I’m determined to use my pot and pan this weekend.
Now, I need to decide where to go later and tomorrow. Dreamland does sound nice.

Kissed
I got kissed by a motorcycle today.
I was at the Jiu Yuan area after visiting the Lingering Garden. Being late in the afternoon and many hours since my breakfast, I was famished. Then I saw MacDonald's across the street and my homing target just locked on.
I noticed that cars were moving from my right to left on the one way street, saw a break in the traffic and started to cross the street. That was when I got kissed by the motorcycle from my left.
It was more like a bump but at that time, my stomach had already taken over my mind and body. I just shaked off the slight pain, glance at the motorcycle, murmured apologies and continue heading towards MacDonald's.
I'm thankful that the motorcycle wasn't travelling at much speed, but I wondered how much damaged I caused it. Probably nothing, since I wasn't stop by the rider.
After, walking around Nan Hao Street, I saw these people huddling around. Curious, I tried to find out what interesting thing they were looking at. I took a photo from the top. No good, too well covered.

If I couldn't get from the top, I tried the bottom.
Wala! Mystery solved.

White Figure
Allow me to start off by introducing the layout of our temporary office.
Currently, while waiting for our offices in the main building to be ready, we worked out of a little building which previously was a teahouse in the middle of a park. It’s the reason why we use the phrase ‘going to the teahouse’ rather than ‘going to the office’. Sounds nice huh. Well, it’s the same actually. Work is work, no matter what your office is called.

Entering into the ‘reception’, there’re a left and right area. Washroom is located at the back of the building, which means we have to get out into the cold to visit it. The GM’s office is right on the path of going out the back door and just directly opposite the pantry.
This means anyone going to the washroom or in the pantry will be on the radar of the GM, since he practises an open door (literally) policy. And yes, every time I fill up my mug from the water dispenser in the pantry, I show him my butt.
Anyway, I was working in the office today (yeah, I know it’s a Sunday) and was about to go to the washroom via the back door when I did a double take and saw a white figure outside the backdoor.
